I'm calling her Prima Ballerina because I don't know her name. This is the fashion industry's equivalent of making an outfit "office appropriate" by throwing a blazer over what essentially amounts to a tutu. I hated those heels on the runway but in a real world scenario they're actually quite cute. Loving the whole thing.

Can we discuss Emmanuelle Alt for a second...

This woman has true personal style. As Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Paris she has access to literally ev.ery.thing. She has the world's designers at her beck and call. She lives in, what is still considered to be, the fashion capital of the world. She could follow every trend, try every new skirt length, indulge every fantasy. So what does she do? She wears mid-heeled pointy toe pumps, skinny jeans, a t-shirt, and a blazer in dark colors. Everyday. Every time she is snapped coming or going from a show. There's a lesson to be learned here.

That is true inspiration to me. That is what makes a style icon. Not this hot mess...

Anna Dello Russo who wears every trend often in one outfit and changes clothes several times a day.

Emmanuelle is classic and probably without meaning to be. I hope one day I happen upon a signature style. Maybe I already have of course. Usually it takes someone else to point it out to you.
