You get into retail because you love working with people. You get out of it because you've killed a couple.

"I fell in love with him. But I don't just stay with him by default as if there's no one else available to me. I stay with him because I choose to, every day that I wake up, every day that we fight or lie to each other or disappoint each other. I choose him over and over again, and he chooses me."
Because sometimes to be with someone instead of alone is the harder choice. Sometimes it's not the easiest of roads. Sometimes you have nothing to offer in the way of encouragement when they're sad or scared or lost. And sometimes seeing your decisions reflected in the eyes of someone you love is the difficult thing. But it is the choices we make that make us who we are. And I will continue to choose to love him in one way or another as long as there is breath in my lungs and a thumping in my chest. And when there is nothing left of me but dust I will know I did my best.

Crop tops and sick heels.
I also wore my crop top in case you missed it...
Can you see it?
How about now?
Still nothing huh? That's because this is how normal people wear crop tops, with a tank under them and a sweater over them. I've said crop tops so many times the word has lost all meaning. croptopscroptopscroptops...

"Successful entrepreneurs tend to have what is referred to as a "growth mindset" as opposed to a "fixed mindset". In a growth mindset, people believe their most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work - brains and talent are just the starting point, whereas people with a fixed mindset believe their basic qualities like intelligence are fixed." So growing personally and professionally is all about perspective...
1. Deconstruct: Break down large problems into smaller tasks.
2. Evolve: Learn from your mistakes.
3. Persevere: Persist in the face of setbacks.
There was a dance that happened when I listened to this. Luckily I was alone so no one was around to film it. It was good. Also this movie.
